Dr. Kathy Reilly Fallon was born in New York City and received her undergraduate degree from the College of New Rochelle (1990) and studied abroad at Oxford & Cambridge University’s in England (1988) and the University of London-Imperial College in England (1990).  She was in the Honor’s Program during College and was a member of the Tri-Beta Biological Honor Society. She obtained a Doctorate degree (1994) from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and went on for further medical studies at New York Medical College. She also received the Silver Award for Medical Writing from the American Society of Foot/Ankle Dermatology and received the Langer Biomechanic Orthopedic Award for Outstanding Performance in Orthopedics and Biomechanics at her Medical School graduation at Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center. 

 

She is a Board Certified Wound Care Specialist and Foot & Ankle Specialist where she practices at the Midtown Health Center in New York City, New York for the last 17 years. For over 10 years, she worked at St. Vincent’s Midtown Hospital and the St. Vincent’s Family Health Center as a Physician/Surgeon specializing on Foot/Ankle surgery. She was also Clinical Supervisor Department of Surgery, teaching Interns and Residents during their weekly lecture series and in the operating room and during their weekly clinic sessions.  She was on the Executive Board of the Hospital for 2 elected terms and the Medical Record’s Committee as well as the Credential’s Committee.

 

Dr. Reilly Fallon was honored by the Westchester Business Journal as one of the “Woman of Westchester” in April, 2008. She was nominated as one of the 10 Best Women of Westchester. In addition, Dr. Reilly Fallon has been featured in 20 various newspapers and magazine articles. She appeared on the Today Show, MSNBC, CNN after 9-11-01 where she was a Foot/Ankle Doctor volunteer at St. Paul’s Chapel in a special segment called “The Chapel That Still Stood”.  She also been on News 12 Westchester four times to discuss her charity and its projects. She was recently honored at the United Cerebral Palsy’s Charity Golf event in July, 2009 for her work as Journal Chair and her charitable contributions to NYC-UCP. She is Co-Chair of the Beautification Committee at the H.C. Crittenden School in Armonk since 2010. She has been a Class Mom for the last several years at the Coman Hill School and The Wampus School in Armonk, New York. She is also an Executive Board Member of the March of Dimes and is a Board of Trustee’s Member of the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in NYC, an affiliate of Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons, Metropolitan Hospital Center and the New York-Presbyterian Healthcare System. She is also a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators. Besides being in the medical profession, she has authored several medical journal articles and published two books and sings on three musical Cd’s.

 

Dr. Reilly Fallon has studied voice and has been a member of St. John the Baptist’s Children Choir, Folk Group and her College’s chorus. She has competed and won 14 First Place awards in Irish Feis’ singing competitions and two Second Place awards. Her love for Irish music was passed down to her from her Dad, Edward Reilly who was the owner of Reilly’s Bar & Restaurant in New York City, NY, where he would sing great Irish songs on weekends. She is currently recording a new album of Celtic music.

 

Dr. Reilly Fallon co-authored & sang on “Heavenly Skies & Lullabies-Illustrated Song Book/CD” with Frank Pellegrino, Actor on The HBO Series “The Soprano’s” and owner of Rao’s Restaurant. This book/Cd’s proceeds help children in need. She also sang on the “Heavenly Lullabies CD” for the Babies & Orphans of 9-11. Her Foundation’s Book/CD has received 5 awards and outstanding reviews, even from Publisher’s Weekly. She also contributed two stories in a book entitled “How I Met My True Love”. She will be releasing a new Children’s book entitled “Oh Snap!” which she authored with her son, James Edward Fallon and her friend, Ruth Weiner.

 

Dr. Reilly Fallon resides in Westchester, New York with her beautiful family and lives life each day in gratitude.
